2017-18 OLA FUNDRAISING
During this 2017-2018 school year, under the patronage of Our Lady, we are truly blessed to be celebrating 35 years of catholic education at Our Lady of the Assumption School.
As an independent Catholic School we rely heavily on tuition and the generosity of our parish community to succeed. While we do receive a portion of funding from the government, we must cover our operating costs primarily through tuition and fundraising. These costs and needs far exceed the funding received. Our Lady of the Assumption School hosts various fundraising events throughout the year to raise funds for our school.
Our Lady of the Assumption School is excited to host our 13th Annual – Trivia Night on Saturday, February 24, 2018! The “Sports – Hall of Fame” theme promises to be a grand slam event held in the school gymnasium. Join us for an adult-only fun-filled evening inspired by sports! It is sure to be a real home run!
This year, you can expect a sports-themed evening filled with trivia questions and prizes galore! There will be opportunities to embrace your inner champion through the high-energy excitement of trivia, raffles, 50/50 draws, games, and silent and live auctions with a celebrity “in-our eyes” auctioneer. There are amazing prizes lined up for this year, and many will go home a winner!
Trivia Questions will not be limited to theme specific questions – the broad subject matters are meant to engage all participants from all generations and walks of life! Rounds will be categorized to go with the theme and genres will be mixed together within each round! Test your knowledge during the 8 rounds of 8 questions through the night. This year, the categories will be divided into science and math, sports and geography, music and musicians, history and cool current events as well a section on our evenings theme!
During the Silent Auctions and Live Auctions, guests participate in friendly competition to see who will bring home the coveted auction prize packages. Auctions were donated from our very generous donors and supporters.
You will also be able to try your luck with various Games throughout the evening such as True and False and Wine Pull games. Best Dressed Prizes awarded throughout the evening for those dressing the part! Dress as your favorite player, team or sportscaster to win prizes!
The Cause – All proceeds from trivia night support the “We Do This Together” Campaign, which focuses on necessary and costly seismic and maintenance upgrades at Our Lady of the Assumption Elementary School.
Ticket Purchases – This year we are offering 2 tables styles – Regular and VIP Table Service!
o Single Tickets Available – $30 per person
o Regular “Bullpen” Table Tickets – $240 per table (Seats 8)
Provides Access to Event, Table Munchies and a fun evening of trivia!
o VIP “MVP” Table Tickets – $480 per table (Seats 8)
Provides front and center reserved seating access to event, dedicated table service to the bar, complementary Bucket of Beer, Ball Park Dogs for the entire table, and Game Day eats delivery during the event.
