Need Participation Hours?
We are in need of help in the following area. Any extra time you
can give is greatly appreciated to make our school run as efficiently
and economically as possible. All hours will count towards your
50 hours of parent participation. Please note that these opportunities
for hours are in addition to the hours obtained
in your current category. If you feel that your present category
will not provide you with the required 50 hours of participation
by June 30, 2010 please use this opportunity to
make up for any short falls in your hours.
No special skills required—all you need are willing hands and some
time to spare—WE WOULD REALLYAPPRECIATE IT!!! If
you have a glue gun, please bring it with you.
School Clean-Up
To control the spread of germs we would like to regularly wipe down
and sanitize as many areas in the school as possible including
the classroom desk tops, chairs and cupboards. Other areas include
all doors, and door handles. There is a duo tang in the photocopier
room next to the sign in sheet baskets with a list of all the tasks
that need to be completed. Please ensure that you are dating what
you have done and this will help other parents who are participating
in this area know what has already been completed. A bucket with
rags and disinfectant will be available in each classroom for your
use. This job ideally should be done after school (as most tasks
are in the classroom) however, you may come in through the day
and do other cleaning tasks listed that are not in a classroom.
If you do come in during school hours please report to the school
office before starting. Thank you for helping make a difference
in our school by keeping our children healthy and our school as
germ free as possible.
